Download the latest version of Spotify for Android. Take your music anywhere. If you haven't already heard of Spotify, listen up. 8.5.83.1075 2020-11-06. 8.5.82.894 2020-10-28. 8.5.81.991 2020-10-23. The old version gave me much better overview when starting the Spotify App. At least I was able to tell.
As of 12 April 2020 these sorting options are not available on Android as far as I can see. I rely on a custom sorting order for much the same reasons as the original poster, and so would really appreciate it if there was some way to sort playlists manually. Or at the very least stop Spotify from automatically sorting them by most recently played. Spotify allows users to add local audio files for music not in its catalogue into the user's library through Spotify's desktop application, and then allows users to synchronise those music files to Spotify's mobile apps or other computers over the same Wi-Fi network as the primary computer by creating a Spotify playlist, and adding those local. Spotify is a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs.
